You are responsible for having the required travel documents for visiting the EU.  At this time American, Australian and Canadian citizens are not required to have visas for visits of less than 90 days. However, we must present a passport that is valid for three months beyond our departure from the EU.


You are limited to one 24 or 26 inch suitcase with wheels and one small carry-on without wheels  such as a small backpack or a “ Longchamps-type” folding tote bag. You will receive a TLC Doll Tours zippered tote bag, suitable for carrying daily necessities to and from your hotel room. The general "rule of thumb" is that if you cannot lift your fully packed suitcase with one hand, it is too heavy for the airlines.  Suitcases larger than 26 inches will not be accepted on the Eurostar.


The nature of European cities dictates that the only way to see the sites is by walking. Many of the central old city streets are only accessible by pedestrians and you may be required to walk up to 800 metres to reach a destination.  While every consideration is given to the general age and physical condition of our guests, stairs and uphill walks are sometimes unavoidable. You must be able to walk a kilometre easily and securely to be comfortable in European cities. TLC Doll Tours is unable to accommodate guests requiring more than a cane for mobility. 


Every tour itinerary is considered tentative to allow us the opportunity to add an activity or an excursion to something that is announced after our tour information has been published. 

For example, the special exhibits at several museums have not yet been announced.

Itinerary departure times are not approximate. Your promptness and consideration for the group is always appreciated.

Airline Tickets:

The 2017 Fête de la Poupée begins in Amsterdam and ends in London. You need to select an “ open jaw” ticket to arrive in Amsterdam and leave from London.  
The first activity for the group will be the welcome dinner Tuesday, 7 November at 7:00 PM.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

We recommend that you select one of the Star Alliance Airlines to give you more latitude of choice when arriving and departing from the EU/UK. The Star Alliance Airlines group includes United, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Swiss, Singapore airlines and others. http://www.staralliance.com/en/home

Travel Insurance:

We recommend that you arrange for travel insurance at the same time as you book your flight tickets. Most of the best priced air tickets are non-refundable as is the price of the tour. Several insurance providers are listed under the “Travel FAQs” tab on our website.

Meals & Beverages: 
Both the tour hotels provide a large and varied breakfast buffet each morning.  At group dinners the group will be served a three-course meal with a choice of a water, coffee or tea.  Wines and spirits are available at your own charge.
We do not include lunch in the tour package because experience has shown us that the amount of food provided at breakfast and dinner is more than most of our tour members are accustomed to or comfortable eating. While we are able to offer diabetic/vegetarian options for those who advise of this need in advance, we are unable to guarantee gluten-free meals in Europe. The menus are selected weeks in advance to offer variety, seasonal fresh foods and traditional local dishes. In the EU you should expect to be served pork and seafood. (no shellfish)  Meal substitutions from the set menu will create an additional charge to the tour member.

The Fine Print: 

The tour price is non-refundable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the tour member agrees to indemnify, and hold harmless TLC Doll Tours, its elected and appointed officials, employees and volunteers and others working on behalf of TLC Doll Tours against any and all claims, demands, suits or loss, including all costs connected therewith, and for any damages which may be asserted, claimed or recovered against or from TLC Doll Tours, its elected and appointed officials, employees, volunteers or others working on behalf of TLC Doll Tours, by reason of personal injury, including bodily injury or death and/or property damage, including loss of use thereof, which arises out of or is in any way connected or associated with this contract. TLC Doll Tours reserves the right to refuse any passenger on the basis of incompatibility with the group, excessive alcohol or drug use, illegal activity, endangerment of the group or non-compliance with the itinerary guidelines and schedules.
